Welcome to Hirst Farm, located at the south end of the quiet town of Purcellville, Virginia. Located just 50 miles from the Nation’s Capital, at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Purcellville is the economic hub of western Loudoun County. Yet the community is small enough to know your neighbors and receive numerous waves from neighborhood friends as you walk the trail system of Hirst Farm.

Note: The next meeting of the Board of Directors will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 7:15 PM at The Purcellville Train Station.

Normally, meetings of the Board of Directors are held on the second Wednesday of each month.

Capital Improvement Update

Recent Tree Planting

Both entrance signs are complete with landscaping and lighting.

Six trees were planted south of A Street in an HOA/Town Tree and Beautification Committee partnership. We hope to continue this relationship as we fill out the neighborhood with trees and help increase the town canopy.

The CIC needs volunteers to investigate the feasibility of various amenities.

The next meeting of the Capital Improvement Committee is on Wednesday, March 7 at 7PM in the Carruthers Room of the Purcellville Library.

~ Architectural Review Board ~

The Architectural Review Board meets via e-mail with in person meetings when requested by residents. Please check the ARB page, or ask Nancy Stephens of Stephens & Company for details.

The ARB is looking for more volunteers to help keep Hirst Farm looking as it should.

The Architectural Review Guidelines have been updated, and posted in the Architectural Review section. You can also download a form to request review of architectural changes for your property in the same section of our website.

~ Town News and Final Developer Work~

Southbound Route 287 Turn Lane at Hirst Road

VDOT has completed construction of a right turn lane on southbound route 287 at Hirst Road.

Town and County in Talks over Hirst Farm Pond

The Town of Purcellville and Loudoun County are currently discussing the final status of Hirst Farm's pond.
